Dmitry A. Yatsenko (FRC IC SB RAS, NSU, Novosibirsk) Modeling of powder diffraction patterns of nanoscale systems (DIANNA software package)
The work will be devoted to the analysis of real experimental data for nanoparticles less than 100 nm in size by the X-ray powder diffraction method. Students will learn to work with a structured database; analyze the experimental diffraction profile; use the Selyakov-Scherrer formula; to model the structures of both individual nanoparticles of various shapes and sizes, and nanostructured systems; calculate theoretical diffraction patterns for nanoscale objects (DIANNA software package (Yatsenko D.A., Tsybulya S.V.).
